Daria Ekamasova, actress
Daria Ekamasova recently became the cover star of the new issue of Marie Claire (12+). The actress has a busy schedule, but she was still «caught» right after filming a comedy in Kazakhstan. Daria talked about life after the Oscars and the strengths of «unhealthy ambitions».
On Chance
Daria is sure: chance plays a big role in cinema. That was the case for her in «Anora» (18+): she made it to the auditions on time.
— Thanks to Yura Borisov and Karen Karagulyan, they reminded the director Sean Baker about me. Working together was a joy. We still keep in touch to this day. The Oscars united all of us into one cinematic family.

On «Skuf»
In the summer, Daria Ekamasova worked on one of the roles in a romantic comedy called «Skuf» (16+), with filming taking place in Almaty.
— It«s a story about life, love, self-love, and vulnerability. Despite the comedic genre, the film is woven with the search for answers to very important questions. This movie will definitely make you laugh at yourself, cry, and want to move forward, the actress said.
On Life After the Oscars
According to Daria, on one hand, nothing changed after the Oscars. On the other hand, a certain calm appeared, caused by the realization that everything is possible in this world if you are honest with it.
— Even though I«m terribly lazy, my ambitions have always been unhealthy, I only recently realized that. It is they that constantly take me out of my comfort zone and make me move forward.
More photos and confessions from the actress can be found in the new issue of Marie Claire magazine.
