The couple has not announced how long they will stay in the United Arab Emirates or if they will fly elsewhere, but currently, the husband and wife are sharing photos of beaches on social media.

“Our people brought us on vacation, I«m writing to you from Dubai. It»s hot here, +30°C (86°F), and good company,” Nikolai Serdyukov shared on his social media.

Three-year-old child from Yessentuki swallowed over 25 stones

An unusual case occurred in Yessentuki: a three-year-old boy was brought to the city clinical hospital with complaints of severe pain and abdominal bloating.

As reported by the medical institution, a pediatric surgeon ordered an X-ray, and on the image, doctors saw something unexpected: dozens of small foreign bodies were located in the projection of the large intestine. It was later revealed that the child had swallowed over 25 stones. The boy«s parents could not explain exactly when this happened. Medics suspect that the toddler might have done it during a walk or outdoor play.

Doctors prescribed a course of cleansing and anti-inflammatory therapy and monitored the child«s condition for five days. Fortunately, surgical intervention was not required: all stones passed naturally, and the boy»s condition significantly improved.

UAVs attempted to attack the industrial zone of Budyonnovsk on the night of 29 October

A drone danger regime was introduced on 28 October at 23:34. Governor Vladimir Vladimirov announced the all-clear at 03:57 in the morning, and just ten minutes later, it became known why the restrictions were necessary. As the head of the region explained, the enemy attempted to attack with unmanned aerial vehicles the industrial zone of Budyonnovsk.

“The adversary attempted to attack the industrial zone of the city of Budyonnovsk with unmanned combat drones. The enemy UAVs were neutralized by electronic warfare and air defense means, the attack did not cause significant damage, and casualties and destruction were avoided,” Vladimirov reported at 04:07 in the morning on his Telegram channel.

Locked in rooms, beaten, and tied up: staff of a Pyatigorsk rehab center convicted for torturing patients

Recall that the case attracted interest back in 2024, when a man died in a rehabilitation center in Pyatigorsk. Relatives believed that the institution«s staff were to blame. The Stavropol Krai Investigative Committee opened a criminal case for torture.

It turned out that cruel methods were used in the center for almost two years, from August 2022 to April 2024. Consultants and a patient of the rehab center followed the director«s instructions and applied unacceptable rehabilitation methods. They systematically beat patients, restricted movement with various means of restraint, locked them up—did everything to make people suffer physically and psychologically. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Stavropol Krai.

As a result, the rehab center director, two consultants, and a patient were found guilty of a crime under paragraphs “a”, “d”, “e” of part 2 of article 117 of the Russian Criminal Code (torture committed against two or more persons, with particular cruelty, by a group of persons by prior conspiracy). They were sentenced to between 2 and 3.5 years in a general regime correctional colony.

On the federal highway «Kavkaz» in Stavropol Krai, a car driver crashed into a minibus with children and died

According to preliminary data from the Stavropol Krai State Traffic Inspectorate, the accident occurred on 29 October at the 334th kilometer of the «Kavkaz» highway. A 40-year-old driver of a Lada Granta crashed into a barrier and then collided with a Mercedes minibus, which was carrying 18 children at the time.

The mayor of Lermontov, Yelena Kobzeva, said that the bus contained minors, their accompanying teacher, and the driver. Initially, four injured were reported, but later the number increased. Initially, 8 children and the teacher sought help at hospital No. 101. All received necessary medical assistance, but after examination by traumatologist-orthopedist and neurologist doctors, specialists decided to leave two minors in Lermontov, sent six people to the neurosurgery department in Pyatigorsk to determine further treatment tactics, and delivered one more child to Stavropol for specialized care related to maxillofacial and neurosurgery.

After the accident, the Stavropol Krai Investigative Committee reported that a check had begun into the compliance of transportation services with safety requirements for life and health of consumers under article 238 of the Russian Criminal Code. The Mineralnye Vody Interdistrict Prosecutor«s Office joined the case. However, now information has come from the Stavropol police that an investigator of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs opened a criminal case under signs of a crime provided for by part 3 of article 264 of the Russian Criminal Code (violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles, resulting in death by negligence). Under this article, up to 5 years in prison may be imposed.

Visitors and staff of the «Kosmos» shopping center in Stavropol were evacuated on the evening of 30 October

Information about the evacuation of the shopping center appeared online after 20:00, the reason was a report of a possible threat of unlawful actions. Police officers quickly arrived at the scene and evacuated visitors and workers. After that, the area was cordoned off and an inspection began.

Specialists examined the premises of the building but found no suspicious items, the Stavropol police reported. The shopping center is now operating as usual.

A 40-centimeter ovarian tumor was removed from a woman in Pyatigorsk

A 60-year-old patient was admitted to a Pyatigorsk medical institution with complaints of an enlarged abdomen. Over two years, it had gradually swollen. It turned out the situation was serious—she was diagnosed with low-grade mucinous ovarian cancer. The woman had to be operated on, but everything went successfully—the tumor, which reached a diameter of 40 centimeters (15.7 inches), did not rupture.

As reported by the Stavropol Krai Ministry of Health, because the patient had the first stage of the disease, chemotherapy was not prescribed. The woman will undergo dynamic observation at the dispensary.
