Beglov Appoints New Leaders in St. Petersburg Administration

Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov has approved personnel appointments in the city administration. New leaders will head the committees on youth policy and transport, as well as the administration of the Central District.

The personnel changes in the St. Petersburg administration were reported from Smolny on January 30.

Elena Razumishkina will take the post of head of the committee on youth policy, replacing Roman Volkovsky, who was acting temporarily.

Until 2019, Razumishkina worked in the committee on industrial policy, then became an advisor to the head of the administration of the Central District.

In October 2021, she was appointed acting head of this district, and later confirmed in the position.

While remaining head of the district, she went on maternity leave, during which duties were performed first by Maxim Romantsov and then by Alexander Veksler.

Alexander Veksler, who temporarily headed the administration of the Central District, will take this position on a permanent basis from February 2.

The city committee on transport will be headed by Denis Minkin, who previously headed the State Unitary Enterprise «Gorelectrotrans».

Since the end of December 2025, the committee has been temporarily headed by Dmitry Vanchkov, who has held the post of deputy head of the department since spring 2021.
