Circus in a Circus: Zapashny Family on Illegitimate Child

For 18 years, the personal life of Asgold Zapashny and his wife Ellen seemed perfect. It appeared that their union was the embodiment of the phrase “And they lived happily ever after”. However, behind the beautiful facade, there were serious problems. In September, they reached a climax and led to divorce. Asgold revealed this on the show “Secret for a Million” (16+), causing dissatisfaction among several family members.

In the program, Asgold admitted that problems in the marriage began 7 years after the wedding. He was constantly on tour, while Ellen was in Moscow. The spouses grew distant from each other, and at some point, the distance became so great that he began a relationship with another woman.

«I had a relationship with an artist from our collective, with whom we toured. And then, as a result, a child was even born,» revealed Zapashny.

About his new love named Diana, Asgold told his wife in the hope that together they would decide how to live further. In the end, the spouses did not divorce. Zapashny moved in with his new chosen one and at the same time continued to help Ellen, saw their two daughters. This strongly displeased Diana.

«Diana stated to me a very unexpected and strange position regarding the fact that she sees my relationships with my daughters from a distance. She was absolutely not interested in how I would coexist with my children, and the priority was only for her and her child,» recalls Asgold.

Asgold refused such conditions, and after 2 years from the start of the relationship, he left Diana and returned back to his wife.

«At some very short interval of time after breaking up with Diana, Ellen decided to contact me and talk. She said that it was very hard for her without me, that we needed to try to restore the relationship. And we tried, but I began to suffer from this,» told Zapashny.

According to Asgold, despite the fact that they decided to start everything from the beginning, the relationships increasingly degraded and held on only by a sense of duty. Especially Zapashny was hurt that Ellen, like the whole family, did not want to accept his illegitimate son — Asgold Jr. Every time, trying to talk, he was reminded that he was married and that Ellen should be in first place, not someone else.

«I began to be terribly stressed by the stamp in the passport. Again, the position of my relatives and family members — it was such that they constantly shoved this passport stamp in my face. Although when I got married, everyone was against it. I completely stopped understanding what people want from me,» the artist wonders.

On 8 September, Asgold officially divorced. The family kept it a secret that the marriage was destroyed, and especially did not want to name the reasons. Going to the interview with Lera Kudryavtseva, Asgold immediately suspected that his frankness would not be approved by the family. That’s what happened. The first to speak out was Zapashny’s former wife.

«A traitor for a million… The script of a new movie,» Ellen indignantly says. «Despite everything, I believe in real, devoted love.»

The ex-wife did not limit herself to one publication. She also posted a picture symbolizing deception and wrote a post urging to remain true to oneself, not just a part of one’s man.

«Love yourself, very much. Love every day. Go to your goal and dream. Learn and discover new things. And once more — love and love yourself. Protect your family, because that is the most precious thing for everyone. Be devoted to yourself and your convictions and never dissolve in men. Alas, leaders are not the same nowadays…» wrote Ellen in Telegram.

The phrase about the leader turned out to be another jab at the husband, whom she previously lovingly called “The Best Leader in the World”.

The eldest daughter of Asgold — Eva, did not remain silent either. The girl posted a family collage of photos with her uncle, mother, and sister, but without her father.

«Today is another beautiful day to say how much I love my family. And to the guys who run around TV channels and deceive everyone, we wish all the best. I will not give any more comments, thank you all, you can disperse. In general, a circus within a circus,» wrote Zapashny’s daughter Eva in her social networks.
