Tereshkova Park Rink to Close for a Day to Public

The rink in Tereshkova Park will be closed to regular visitors for a day, starting from the evening of January 24. Events for students are planned on the ice, the city culture committee warned.

«Due to the event at the rink of the Children»s Park named after V. V. Tereshkova, sessions on January 24 at 22:00 and all sessions on January 25 (from 12:00 to 20:00 inclusive) have been canceled,« clarified the administration.

Whether the celebration might be canceled due to dropping temperatures (and the coming days will also be frosty) is still unclear. Students will only be able to attend with invitation tickets.

«A rich program has been prepared for them: a figure skating demonstration, vocal and dance performances. Students will also need to show wit in a music competition and agility in a dance interactive,» said the city hall. «All participants will enjoy a tasty treat: hot tea with gingerbread.»
