Cringe Party at WERK Club (Ages 18+)

The bright and unusual CRINGE parties are returning to Kazan for Student«s Day. As always, guests can expect energetic DJ sets, vibrant looks, charismatic and funny artists, and the most unusual music selection. For the holiday, entry will be free for all students.

Blogger, PhD student at the Department of Social Philosophy of Kazan Federal University, and editor-in-chief of the media outlet «Kazan Mole» Ivan Rotov will help listeners understand the role of darkness and all things dark in history and mass culture, and why the color black can be synonymous with «enlightenment.» Perhaps this very lecture will provide the answer to why so many movie and book characters are drawn to the «dark side.»

With a student ID or passport, you can also rent skates for free.

Tour «Alone with History» (Ages 12+)

Lovers of a leisurely pace can spend this Sunday alone not only with themselves but also with the history of various eras. At the National Museum of Tatarstan, you can meet an ancient potter and a merchant from the Golden Horde, Queen Syuyumbike and Catherine the Great, soldiers of the Great Patriotic War, and other iconic historical figures. The immersive tour promises vivid emotions and complete immersion in the atmosphere of the past.

This weekend in Kazan, an event with the unusual name «Sabaneevka» will take place. This is an exhibition dedicated to the outstanding zoologist Leonid Sabaneev, who in 1872 organized the very first hunting dog show in Russia in St. Petersburg. On this occasion, «Kazan Expo» will present various breeds of hunting dogs with the best pedigrees and champion titles.
