Ural man admits killing wife, trying to dismember her
Olga and Rafis had lived together in Berezovsky for many years before the fatal argument.
The brother of 56-year-old Rafis Khuzin, who was accused of brutally murdering his wife in Berezovsky, told how he learned about the tragedy. According to the official version of the investigation, in the second half of October, Rafis argued with his wife — Olga Blinova. During interrogation, the accused stated that he was drunk that day, and Olga came home from work and started a scandal because dinner wasn«t ready. The husband couldn»t take it and stabbed her to death. At the same time, he attempted to dismember the victim, but couldn«t and hid the body.
After a few days, Rafis was tormented by guilt. He reported what happened to the police and to his brother Rashit.
«They argued — and that«s it. He was a drunk idiot. They both drank, often quarreled, but it never came to fights: they would just argue, shout, and that»s all. And here, I don«t know what came over whom. I can»t even believe it, my brother is very calm. But it happened, and now there«s nothing to be done,» — noted Rashit. — «On 25 October he called and said: “I killed Olya, and I called the police, they are already coming for me”. Then he hung up and turned off his phone. That day he was sober, before that he came to me in the Gazelle».
The brother of the accused does not believe that Rafis could commit such atrocities (according to neighbors, skin was removed from Olga and they tried to dismember her).
«I spent two days going between the police and the investigative department, they keep calling me in. But when I ask what exactly happened, the investigators don«t tell me. They say there will be a trial, and everything will be said there,» — explained the brother.
According to him, Rafis worked for many years with the Gazelle, engaged in cargo transportation. Conflicts regularly occurred in his brother«s family.
«Yes, he could drink on Friday-Saturday, but he never drank before work, he went out with the Gazelle from Monday to Friday. He didn«t get drunk to the point of being wasted, he behaved normally. Olya didn»t work anywhere, she often drank (according to acquaintances, the deceased worked as a cleaner. — Ed. note)», — concluded the brother of the accused.
