The Tyumen branches of the DUO coffee shop, located in «Goodwin» and «Crystal,» have adjusted their assortment. Salads, sandwiches, and main dishes have been removed from the menu. The establishment has not provided reasons.

Guests are consistently present at the venue, ordering takeaway coffee and waiting patiently for their drinks.

«We do not give comments as we operate under a franchise. All questions should be directed to Yekaterinburg (the coffee shop chain originates from there — Ed.). With us [in the Tyumen branches] everything is fine, we work as usual,» shared representatives of the coffee shop with a correspondent from 72.RU.

Besides the invigorating caffeinated beverage, bottled water and desserts, mainly pastries, are now available for purchase.

A possible reason for the sharp reduction in the coffee shop«s assortment could be the recorded case of mass poisoning at the DUO chain in Yekaterinburg. Visitors started complaining en masse about poisonings in mid-January. City residents reported that after visiting the establishment they felt unwell: severe vomiting, weakness, chills.

As reported by our colleagues from E1.RU, currently in their city all branches are closed. Sanitary doctors have already started an inspection, the results of which will be announced later. The founders of the DUO coffee shop chain have not yet commented on the situation.
