Golden bus terminal owners explain long construction delays
Representatives of the company «Obshchestvo Malysheva, 73» listed the difficulties encountered during the construction of the «Golden» bus terminal and shopping center. According to them, construction is proceeding as planned.
«The key stages of the schedule are being met. Work on preparing and handing over premises to key anchor tenants is actively underway,» the company said. «At the same time, we, like all market participants, face systemic challenges typical for implementing large projects under current conditions.»
Difficulties currently affecting the construction of the Golden:
There remains a shortage of qualified labor;
There are logistical difficulties with equipment, which require forming a new supply chain and have led to long queues at suppliers. This applies to both Russian and imported equipment.
«These factors require flexible management from the project team and the creation of additional time buffers, but they are accounted for in planning and do not affect the approved commissioning date,» stated «Obshchestvo Malysheva, 73».
They also noted that the shopping center will be launched in full. However, future tenants will open their facilities in stages. The anchor tenants, which will drive key visitor traffic, have already been determined.
They will be:
Maza Park entertainment center with a modern 9-screen cinema equipped with LED screens;
The «Giperbola» hypermarket;
A central gastronomic hub on the second floor, organized as a food mall. It will include both popular national chains (KFC, «Rostiks») and local gastronomic projects. Around the hub, there will be a restaurant zone.
The commissioning of the «Golden» is planned by the end of 2026. This is not the first delay. Initially, work on the project was promised to be completed in 2023. Most recently, the company stated that the «Golden» would be handed over by the end of 2025 and opened in March 2026.
