Two young men from Yekaterinburg, Vladislav Revenko and Nikita Talanov, have gone missing in Egypt. They arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh on January 21 and were supposed to return home six days later.
However, on January 27, the tourists did not show up for their scheduled flight with Red Sea Airlines. According to information from the father of one of them, Pavel Revenko, contact with the men was lost on January 26.
«Vladislav Revenko and Nikita Talanov stopped communicating on January 26. My son was last online in 6th of October City (a city 20 kilometers southwest of Cairo),» stated Pavel Revenko.
It is known that from Sharm el-Sheikh, the young men traveled by bus to Cairo. Vladislav informed his father that they had checked into a hotel and everything was fine. After that, contact with them was lost.
Red Sea Airlines confirmed that both tourists did not use their tickets for the return flight.
On the same day, January 28, a separate incident occurred: an Azur Air plane issued a distress signal in the sky over Vietnam. The liner safely made an unscheduled landing, and no one was injured.
