Instructor of the UAV training department Senior Sergeant Artem Lopatkin from Transbaikal Krai, while performing tasks on attack drones in «free hunt» mode, conducted a raid on the strike network of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) strongpoints, according to Chita.Ru on January 25 from the press service of the Eastern Military District.

“Before the offensive actions of the «Vostok» assault troops in the Huliaipole area (Zaporizhzhia region, Ukraine), a network of AFU strongpoints with unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control points was identified using reconnaissance drones. After receiving the coordinates of the targets, Artem Lopatkin conducted more than 30 sorties in a day. As a result, four UAV control points with enemy personnel, two combat armored vehicles — «Marder» and «Kozak» — as well as three heavy copters of the «Baba Yaga» type (a large Ukrainian drone) were hit. The rotation and evacuation of Ukrainian fighters were disrupted, and our assault troops took AFU positions,” the message states.
