Samara to Get Capsule Hotel at Railway Station
A capsule hotel is set to open at Samara's railway station in 2026, offering short-term accommodation for travelers. The initiative targets passengers needing only a few hours of rest between journeys.

“The opening of a capsule hotel is planned for 2026. Currently, there is a hotel on the railway station premises, but many people need rest for just a few hours. In that case, the option is a capsule hotel, not renting a room for a day in a hotel. Such a capsule hotel exists in Ufa. In Samara, when opening a similar hotel, we will consider the experience of that city,” said Vyacheslav Dmitriev, head of the Kuibyshev Railway (KbZhD), on Tuesday, January 27, during a meeting with journalists.
Last summer, another additional service for passengers opened at Samara«s railway station: a new business lounge. A recurring decorative element is the Moon, because Samara is a space city. By the way, our city became the thirteenth in the country where such a zone exists at a railway station.
