In 2026, Russians can expect a total of seven short work weeks, according to the production calendar.

The calendar details the schedule of short work weeks and long weekends throughout 2026.

There will be six four-day and one three-day work weeks in total. The nearest long weekend will be in February. We will rest on Defender of the Fatherland Day, from February 21 to 23, and work from February 24 to 27.
In honor of International Women«s Day, the weekend will also be longer – from March 7 to 9, and work days will last from the 10th to the 13th.
The next shortened work week will be at the end of April – from the 27th to the 30th. It will be followed by three days off – from May 1 to 3. The next rest days will fall on May 9–11, after which we will work from the 12th to the 15th.
In June, we«ll be lucky too: the work week will last from the 8th to the 11th, and the weekend – from the 12th to the 14th.
On National Unity Day in November, there will be no long weekend – we will only rest on Wednesday, November 4. We will need to work on the 2nd–3rd and 5th–6th.
At the end of December, a three-day work week is expected – from the 28th to the 30th, after which long holiday weekends will begin.
