Irkutsk Tourists Share Japan Travel Tips and Expenses
Visiting Japan is like discovering a new planet. It paradoxically combines modern technology and ancient culture perfectly. The couple Natalya and Sergey traveled to Japan and told IRCITY.RU what to do there, what to see, and what to try.
The video features tourists describing Japan as a magical country and detailing their travel expenses.
‘For me, it’s almost the perfect country for tourism. I’ve been there for the seventh time, and once again I was convinced how good I feel there,’ Natalya says.
You can love Japan for the tact and delicacy of the locals, for the nature and atmosphere, the maximum photogenicity of everything you lay eyes on. But the main thing is that it’s extremely convenient to get around Japan.
‘A completely magical country with perfect transport links. You can get anywhere, practically on anything. Transport always arrives on time, literally to the minute,’ shares Natalya.
During their week-long vacation, Natalya and Sergey managed to see Tokyo, Kamakura, Kyoto, and Osaka. Natalya especially loves Kyoto for its uniqueness and atmosphere.
‘Low-rise houses, a very large number of temples — the whole atmosphere of old Japan. And I have absolutely no luck with Osaka. Nothing but skyscrapers, and everything around is winking, shouting at you, very crowded,’ shares Natalya.
For a week-long vacation in Japan, the couple spent 200 thousand rubles (approximately $2,000 at current rates) on flights, another 70 thousand rubles (about $700) on hotels, and 88 thousand rubles (around $880) on transport, food, and souvenirs.
