Direct Flight from Nizhnevartovsk to Baku to Resume

Direct flights from Nizhnevartovsk to Baku will resume in April, with one-way tickets starting at 24,590 rubles (about $246 at current rates).

Airline IrAero will resume direct air service between Nizhnevartovsk and Baku. Flights to the capital of Azerbaijan will start on April 5, according to the Telegram channel «Transport Workshop Yugra.»

Departure from Nizhnevartovsk is scheduled for 06:40 on Sundays. The return flight from Baku will depart on Saturdays at 23:50. The journey will take 4 hours and 10 minutes.

The cost of a one-way ticket from Nizhnevartovsk starts from 24,590 rubles (about $246 at current rates). This includes baggage up to 20 kg, hand luggage up to 5 kg, and meals. The carrier has already opened ticket sales.

Earlier we wrote that from Khanty-Mansiysk there will be a new direct flight — to Samara. Passengers will fly on modern Sukhoi Superjet airliners. Flights will operate from March 5 to 26, 2026, as this route is currently trial. If it is in demand among Yugra residents, flights are planned to be extended.

We also reported that from Khanty-Mansiysk direct flights to Sochi will be resumed. From June, it will be possible to fly to the resort without transfers. A one-way ticket costs from 13,591 rubles (about $136 at current rates).
