For the upcoming Friday, January 30, a yellow danger level has been declared in Saratov Oblast due to unfavorable weather conditions. The forecast was prepared by the Saratov Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.
Throughout the day, cloudy weather is expected with slight, and in some places moderate, precipitation in the form of snow, sleet, and rain. Specialists warn of locally reduced visibility to 500 meters or less due to precipitation and fog. Also, forecasters predict a strengthening southern wind with gusts up to 15 m/s.
The temperature range will fluctuate: at night from -5 °C (23°F) to -10 °C (14°F) in the Left Bank area, during the day significantly warmer — up to -3…+2 °C (27…36°F). In the Trans-Volga region, the mercury will not rise above -8 °C (18°F).
