A warning about deteriorating weather conditions is in effect in Yaroslavl Region. From 18:00 on 27 January to 18:00 on 28 January MSK, snowfall, blizzard, ice and reduced visibility on roads are forecast.
Temperatures at night on 28 January will drop to –11…–16°C (12.2…3.2°F), with frosts down to –21°C (–5.8°F) possible in some areas. During the day, temperatures are expected to be –8…–13°C (17.6…8.6°F).
The Regional Security Ministry of the region appealed to citizens. «Pedestrians, move carefully on streets and roads. Drivers, be attentive, observe the speed limit and keep your distance.»

Earlier, weather forecasters predicted snowfall in Central Russia, with the most intense precipitation on 28 January expected precisely in Yaroslavl and Ivanovo Regions.
Yaroslavl City Hall has stepped up snow removal work on city streets due to the forecast.
In the second half of the week, a Scandinavian anticyclone will begin to arrive in the central regions of the country. It will bring colder weather, but precipitation will decrease.
