When Warming Will Arrive in Omsk Oblast

In recent weeks, truly Siberian frosts have struck Omsk Oblast — with temperatures dropping to −35°C (−31°F) in some areas. NGS55.RU examined forecasts from various weather services to determine when the region will begin to warm up.
According to the service «Weather NGS55.RU», thermometer readings will only start to rise by Thursday. Overnight, temperatures are expected to reach up to −17°C (1°F), in the morning and daytime — from −14°C to −13°C (7°F to 9°F). By evening, it will warm up to −11°C (12°F), with possible snow. The wind will be southerly.
Gismeteo also promises warming on Thursday, January 29. During the day, meteorologists forecast around −10°C (14°F), at night — up to −16°C (3°F). Precipitation is not excluded.
According to the service «Yandex Weather», next Thursday will be the warmest day of the week: both day and night, temperatures will be around −10°C (14°F). Light snow is possible.
However, the warming will be short-lived. According to forecasts from all three services, by February 1, cooling will begin again: during the day, from −19°C to −14°C (−2°F to 7°F), at night — up to −23°C (−9°F).
