Rain and Black Ice Forecast for Rostov Region on 27 January

A sharp warming is approaching the Rostov region. On 27 January, frosts will persist during the day, but the weather will start to change by night. This is according to the hydrometeorological bulletin of the Rostov Hydrometeorological Center.
In Rostov on 27 January, it will be cloudy with clear spells. In the afternoon and evening, there will be light precipitation in the form of snow, wet snow, turning into freezing rain. The rest of the time will be mostly dry.
In the evening, black ice will form. Roads will be icy. The wind will be easterly and southeasterly at 8–13 meters per second, with gusts up to 15–18 meters per second during the day.
Air temperatures during the day will range from -7 to -9 degrees Celsius (19 to 16°F). At night, in the run-up to the upcoming sharp warming, they will remain the same.
Across the Rostov region on 27 January, it will be cloudy with clear spells. During the day, there will be light precipitation in the form of snow in some areas, turning into wet snow and freezing rain in the south. During the day and evening, black ice is expected in some southern areas.
Roads will be icy with snowdrifts. The wind will be easterly and southeasterly at 8–13 meters per second, with gusts up to 20 meters per second in some areas.
Air temperatures during the day will range from -10 to -15 degrees Celsius (14 to 5°F), and up to -6 degrees Celsius (21°F) in the south. At night, temperatures will be -5…-10 degrees Celsius (23 to 14°F), dropping to -15 degrees Celsius (5°F) during clear spells and to -18 degrees Celsius (0°F) in the extreme northern areas.
