Novosibirsk Weather: Frost Expected to Drop to -24°C

In Novosibirsk, it will warm up over the coming weekend. This is stated in the forecast from the West Siberian Hydrometeorological Service (UGMS).

According to meteorologists, on Saturday, the air temperature during the day will not drop below -7…-9 degrees Celsius (19…16°F). The day will be without precipitation, with clear skies and variable cloudiness expected. At night, the temperature will drop to -11…-13 degrees Celsius (12…9°F). Wind speed will be 4-9 m/s.

On Sunday, February 1, it will be cloudy during the day, and the temperature will range from -9 to -11 degrees Celsius (16…12°F). At night, it will cool down to -14…-16 degrees Celsius (7…3°F). No precipitation is expected, and wind speed will be 2-7 m/s.

The cold will return on Monday. On February 2, the air temperature during the day will be -11…-13 degrees Celsius (12…9°F), dropping in the evening to -18 degrees Celsius (0°F). Wind speed will be 6-11 m/s.

In the region, it will be colder over the next three days. Over the weekend, night temperatures could reach -19 degrees Celsius (-2°F), and on Monday, the thermometer could drop to -24 degrees Celsius (-11°F).

Recall that the day before, dozens of houses in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Novosibirsk were left without heating.
