On the last Sunday of January, Primorsky Krai will remain under the influence of a stable anticyclone. Precipitation will almost completely leave the region, but frost will intensify, and a north and northwest wind will maintain high speed, creating truly harsh winter conditions.

Primgidromet (the Primorsky Hydrometeorological Service) reported that the past night of 25 January in a number of areas was one of the coldest in recent days. The average air temperature in the krai was -18 to -25 °C (0 to -13 °F), and in central areas down to -27 to -32 °C (-17 to -26 °F).

The lowest readings were in Pozharsky District, where thermometers dropped to -34 to -38 °C (-29 to -36 °F). In the northeast of the krai, frosts in some places reached -36 °C (-33 °F). On the coast it was noticeably milder — down to -15 to -20 °C (5 to -4 °F).

During the day, the temperature background will rise somewhat but will remain below the climatic norm. In most areas of the krai, -10 to -16 °C (14 to 3 °F) are expected, in the north down to -17 to -20 °C (1 to -4 °F), and on the coast down to -8 to -13 °C (18 to 9 °F). Precipitation is unlikely: the probability does not exceed 20%, and forecasters do not predict any atmospheric phenomena.

Meteorologists drew special attention to the wind conditions on Tatiana«s Day in Primorye. A north wind will blow at a speed of 6–11 meters per second, and on the eastern coast in some places it will increase to 17–22 meters per second, which will create a wind chill effect and increase the risk of hypothermia.

In Vladivostok, Sunday will also pass without snow. At night and in the morning hours, the temperature will be -17 to -20 °C (1 to -4 °F), during the day it will warm up to -11 to -15 °C (12 to 5 °F). The northwest and north wind will be gusty with a speed of 9–14 meters per second, with short-term increases to 15–20 meters per second.

In Ussuriysk, it is cloudy, no precipitation is expected. On some road sections, packed snow and ice will appear. The wind blows from the north and northwest, not too strong. During the day, the air temperature will warm up to -11 to -13 °C (12 to 9 °F).

In Nakhodka, there is slight cloudiness, without precipitation. On the roads, there is ice in some places. The wind is north, northwest, moderate to strong, at times strong. The air temperature during the day up to -11 to -13 °C (12 to 9 °F).

According to meteorologists, on the night of 26 January, in some areas of the krai, the temperature may again drop to -30 °C (-22 °F) and below, especially in the northeast.
