A long-awaited warm spell is heading to Krasnoyarsk, with temperatures set to rise significantly by the weekend, according to the NGS24.RU Weather service forecast.

According to the forecast, temperatures will start to rise on Thursday, January 29. In the morning, it will still be -26°C (-15°F), warming up to -19°C (-2°F) during the day. By evening, it will warm up further to -15°C (5°F). Along with the warming, light snow is expected.

On Friday, January 30, morning temperatures will be -11°C (12°F). Later, it will warm to -9°C (16°F), but snow will continue. By evening, forecasters say temperatures will drop back to the morning level, with snow persisting.

On Saturday, January 31, daytime temperatures will rise to -2°C (28°F), but the weather will be cloudy. By evening, snow will fall again, and temperatures will drop to -3°C (27°F).

Precipitation will continue on Sunday morning, February 1. The temperature will be -3°C (27°F). During the day, it will clear up to -2°C (28°F). By evening, it will cool slightly to -5°C (23°F), with cloudy conditions.

The further forecast is not encouraging. At the beginning of the week, temperatures will drop to -17°C (1°F), and at night to -22°C (-8°F).
