Abnormal cold to hit Arkhangelsk overnight: Thursday's forecast

On Thursday, 29 January, it will become even colder in the Arkhangelsk region. According to the Northern Department of the Hydrometeorological Center (UGMS), temperatures in the region could drop to -31 degrees Celsius (-24°F).

Cloudy weather with clear spells is expected. Light snow and fog are possible in some areas. Wind from the western quarter at 0-5 m/s.

Air temperature will range from -16 to -21°C (3 to -6°F), dropping to -31°C (-24°F) at night and in the morning during clear spells, and down to -11°C (12°F) in some parts of the northwest of the region.
