Residents of Yekaterinburg complained about queues at traffic police offices — visitors sign up on a piece of paper attached to the entrance door, each marking their turn with a ticket number.

The new schedule is now in effect, with offices open daily to serve drivers.

For example, photos show a crowd that gathered on 20 January waiting for the opening of the registration office at Voditelsky Proyezd, 20.

«People keep coming and coming. The new schedule came into effect today. Some came on Sunday and Monday, but the office was closed,» a reader of E1.RU complained.

The press service of the Sverdlovsk Region State Traffic Inspectorate said that for the convenience of drivers, they have changed the operating hours of the departments. From 20 January, the registration offices of the MREO (Interdistrict Registration and Examination Department) are working daily, without days off. Their addresses:

  • Voditelsky Proyezd, 20;

  • 3rd International Street, 15.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the office will work from 08:00 to 19:00. On Tuesdays and Thursdays — from 12:00 to 20:00. It is better to make an appointment in advance via Gosuslugi (the government services portal).

The State Traffic Inspectorate noted that there is no queue now, and tickets are available for any day.
