As of 26 January 2026, a ban on learner driver traffic is in force on Moskovsky Prospekt in Yaroslavl. The order «On Measures to Ensure Safety During Driver Training» was signed by the Department of Municipal Services.

The restriction affects the stretch from Bogoyavlenskaya Square to Kalinina Street, which is now entirely off-limits for trainee drivers.

The new document amends an order dated 29 December 2025. Previously, only driving tests for obtaining a license were prohibited on this road section, but now all instructional driving is banned.

The previous version of the order contained an instruction: «To recommend that the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Russian MVD Directorate for Yaroslavl Region organize monitoring of the movement of instructional vehicles within the city. To bring this order to the attention of organizations engaged in training vehicle drivers.»
