Yakutia«s Ministry of Transport has named the main stages of work at the Lena Bridge construction site in 2026. Builders will erect three viaduct supports, arrange foundations for bridge supports, and more. This was reported on January 20 in the department»s Telegram channel.

All activities are being carried out in strict accordance with the work schedule. Builders will install bored piles on 13 supports of the right bank, continue to fill land on the same bank for vehicles, assemble a pontoon crossing for uninterrupted movement of special equipment, and build three dormitories for all those involved in the bridge construction.

Russian President Vladimir Putin personally supported the construction of the Lena Bridge, approving the project«s financial model. It was included in the long-term development plan for the Yakutsk agglomeration.

The Lena Bridge is part of the national project «Infrastructure for Life» — one of the key federal tools for developing the country«s transport infrastructure. The total cost of the project is 174.8 billion rubles (approximately $1.8 billion at current rates). Construction of the Lena Bridge began in October 2024. According to the plan, the facility is to be commissioned in 2028.
