In Volgograd, the aftermath of an accident involving a Belarusian trolleybus, delivered to the city as part of a passenger transport renewal program, and a Volkswagen Tiguan crossover was captured on video. The accident occurred on the afternoon of January 21 near the Ploshchad Vozrozhdeniya stop.

In footage taken by V1.RU readers after the crash, it is visible that the trolleybus suffered damage to the plastic cladding on the rear. The Volkswagen has severe front-end damage, with the hood bent upwards.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Volgograd Region confirmed the accident, specifying that there were no injuries from the collision. The municipal unitary enterprise «Metroelectrotrans» provided details of the crash.
“The trolleybus had left the «Ploshchad Vozrozhdeniya» stop and was approaching the point where the overhead wire switch is located,” the enterprise explained. “To pass through the switch, the driver reduced speed, and at that moment, the crossover hit it from behind. There are no injured passengers on the trolleybus; now the parties involved are handling the accident documentation procedure.”
Judging by the numbers on the trolleybus, the vehicle involved was a BKM 32100D «Olgerd» model, built in April 2022 and operating on Volgograd streets since May — a low-floor, high-capacity trolleybus for intra-city passenger transport, produced by the Belarusian company Belkommunmash.
