Patrol inspectors of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sverdlovsk Region noticed a Volga car on the roadside with its hazard lights on. The 64-year-old driver reported that the car could not move due to engine failure caused by low temperature.

«The 64-year-old driver reported that the vehicle was not fit for travel due to a technical malfunction of the engine caused by low temperatures,» the department explained.

Traffic police officers Andrey Novikov and Sergey Bronnikov organized the towing of the faulty car to the nearest settlement — the city of Tavda.

According to weather forecasters, severe frosts are expected again in Sverdlovsk Region in the near future, with temperatures possibly dropping to -30 degrees Celsius (-22°F).
