One of the busiest sections of Vladivostok«s street-road network is set for major reconstruction in 2026. The city hall announced that comprehensive work will be carried out from Okeansky Avenue, from the intersection with Komsomolskaya Street, to Ostryakov Avenue.

This refers to the road segment from the Dalpress stop to the Pervaya Rechka area (a district in Vladivostok), where huge traffic jams form daily. The plan includes not just pavement repair, but a complete infrastructure overhaul.

During the work, engineering utilities will be updated, sidewalks will be put in order and restored, adjacent road infrastructure will be improved, new asphalt pavement will be laid on the roadway, and road signs, tactile indicators, and ramps will be installed.

Currently, city hall specialists are preparing the necessary documentation to soon begin searching for a contractor to carry out the major reconstruction of one of Vladivostok«s busiest roads.

In addition, with the onset of consistently warm weather conditions in Vladivostok, local road repairs will commence in all city districts. So far, only a few streets are known where comprehensive work will begin. These include Chernyakhovsky and Nevelsky streets.

Previously, we reported that since January 30, municipal bus No. 22k has been operating on an extended route. It connects the Primorsky Aquarium with residential areas and important facilities on Russky Island.
