In Krasnoyarsk Krai, a municipal reform was adopted, which merged many districts into okrugs. This created the Krasnoyarsk Urban Okrug, which now includes the settlements of Minino — both the village and the settlement, Elita, Areyskoye, Drokino, Snezhitsa, and Kamenny Yar, as well as Solontsy, Yermolayevo, and Berezovka.

Already, buses to the territories that became part of Krasnoyarsk run on the schedule that had been in effect for residents for many years. However, there are some changes: the routes are now overseen by city carriers, the vehicles on the lines have been replaced, and the fare has become the same as in all of Krasnoyarsk — 48 rubles ($0.60 at current rates) for any distance.

Nevertheless, the city administration has decided to adjust the routes, having listened to residents — surveys have already been launched in the settlement of Solontsy, distributed through local chats, messengers, and websites.

The Department of Municipal Services and Transport explained to an NGS24.RU correspondent that the website is not available to all Krasnoyarsk residents. It is specifically sent to residents of the annexed territories to find out their opinion. All chats where route changes are discussed are also monitored.

«It was the residents of Solontsy who submitted the largest number of comments and suggestions after the launch of bus routes No. 66 and 67, which used to be suburban and have become urban. People suggested changing the terminal stops, including other streets in the route, adjusting the schedule, and more,» the transport department explained.

They are also conducting surveys directly on public transport, asking passengers to fill out questionnaires and answer questions — which stop they leave from, at what time, where and for what purpose, and so on. The form also has space for specific suggestions on route changes.

Residents will be surveyed until the end of January, after which the results will be analyzed and the wishes of the majority of passengers will be taken into account. In addition to surveys, the transport department notes that since the first days of 2026, specialists have been studying passenger traffic on all former suburban routes — they look at the number of passengers on flights at different times.

Earlier, NGS24.RU reported that due to the municipal reform in Krasnoyarsk, a new route has already been introduced — from the city to Yemelyanovo and back. However, there is not much demand for it, so the bus will run only twice a week — on Monday and Wednesday.
