In Tula, the problem with public transport has worsened. In recent weeks, city residents have been complaining more frequently about violations in bus and minibus schedules. According to Tula residents, transport does not arrive on time, and waiting at stops often stretches to 40–60 minutes, including in freezing weather.

The situation is felt most acutely during morning and evening rush hours. People cannot get to work, school, or home on time, and electronic displays and schedule apps often show data that does not match reality. As a result, passengers are forced to either freeze at stops or look for alternative ways to reach their destination.

The editorial team of 71.ru has already sent a request to the head of the city administration, Ilya Bespalov, to comment on the situation. We will definitely publish a separate article as soon as we receive a response.

We have collected comments from social networks only from the last couple of days. Note that the problem has been observed for more than a week, and there is still no solution. Punctuation and spelling are preserved.

«There were no buses on route #40 today. Children from Bezhki and the 38th block couldn»t go to school,« writes Olga.

Natalya is indignant: «Hello! It»s impossible to leave or get to the regional children«s hospital. Route 64 doesn»t run at all. I have to go down to the perinatal center and take route 62. Yesterday I stood at the stop for an hour, waiting for the minibus, but it never came

«Hello, from Krivoluche it»s impossible to get to Ryazanka for days. Bus 7 doesn«t come for 30–40 minutes, what»s going on with the transport?« — in another part of the city, Roman also encountered the problem.

A woman from the suburbs notes that buses do not run on schedule and sometimes even deviate from the route: «Comrades, really, what happened to the transport? Why don»t buses run on the schedule they have? In particular, I«m concerned about routes 27A and 25; it»s impossible to leave in the evening or morning, people are all frostbitten, at stops in Skuratovo there are about 20 people standing. In the evening (starting from 5 PM), for example, 27A goes only to Severny and ends the route, 25 is nowhere to be seen, it comes once every two hours and even then it«s packed. 35L seems to have been cut altogether, since they don»t run every 15 minutes as initially stated and as they did, for example, in autumn, but once every 40 minutes (again, it«s impossible to leave). How are we supposed to travel?!?!?!?!»

Another complaint about route No. 7: «Hello, from Krivoluche it»s impossible to get out on the seventh route, I stood for 50 minutes, not a single 7, what«s happening? What»s wrong with our transport?«

Residents of Shchekino also cannot get home from Tula normally: «Did bus 117 decide not to run today? I stood at the stop for 50 minutes until the PAZ bus 117k arrived

Another complaint about route No. 40: «Today again there is no route No. 40, children waited for the bus at the Vysokaya stop for 40 minutes, but it never came. Although on Yandex Maps it supposedly approached every 15 minutes

Alexander claims that for the second week he cannot get to work normally: «Good morning. I would like to address Tulgorelektrotrans. It»s the second week during rush hour from 7:20 to 8:30, not a single trolleybus 5 goes from the southern station. How are people supposed to get to work, children to kindergarten and school? During this time, one bus 38 passes, and it«s simply impossible to squeeze into it

Another woman from the suburbs reports a violation in the bus schedule: «I would like to raise the topic regarding bus schedules. I am a resident of the village of Mikhalkovo and, roughly speaking, buses don»t run at all; according to the schedule, 2–3 buses should have passed, but in reality, not a single one, and they run once an hour or half an hour. I hope this message will somehow influence this and they will run better

Carriers, in turn, explain the delays with objective reasons. According to their data, the main factor is the sharply increased load on the street-road network. During peak hours, road capacity decreases: the roadway is narrowed in places due to uncleared snow, and in bad weather conditions, the number of cars on the roads increases.

Another reason cited is numerous minor traffic accidents and obstructions to movement, including improperly parked cars that hinder the passage of public transport and force drivers to fall behind schedule.

At the same time, city residents note that, regardless of the reasons, it is the passengers who end up suffering in this situation. People expect from city authorities and carriers not explanations, but solutions — stable intervals of movement, correct schedules, and clear information about disruptions on routes. Because at the moment, people have no confidence in whether they will reach their destination or again stand for an hour and leave with nothing.
