Ryazan paralyzed by maximum 10-point traffic jams

On the evening of Thursday, January 29, Ryazan was again gripped by traffic jams. As of 6:10 p.m., they were rated at the maximum ten points. Online maps showed two traffic accidents—on Ryazhskoye and Moskovskoye highways.

The situation was worsened by snowfall that had not stopped since morning.
The most severe, crimson-colored traffic jams were on Tsiolkovsky, Zubkova, Ostrovsky, Chkalov, Military Motorists, Voznesenskaya streets, as well as on Ryazhskoye and Moskovskoye highways.
An emergency warning has been in effect in the Ryazan region for more than a day and will not be lifted until at least Friday. Roads may experience snowdrifts, and snow accumulation, according to forecasters, could increase by 15 centimeters (6 inches).
