Omsk heated bus stop malfunctions, authorities blame unstable internet

Residents of Omsk have complained about the condition of a heated bus stop located at the «4-ya Rabochaya» stop on Kirova Street. According to locals, the pavilion is cold, the screen does not show bus arrival times, and the door closer does not work.
The pavilion is clearly in need of repair.
«Kirova Street, 4-ya Rabochaya stop: the curtain doesn»t work, the TV doesn«t work, the door closer slams, there»s a hole under the bench! There is no proper regard for the city«s residents. And it»s freezing outside,« was reported in the public group »Omsk VK.«
The administration of the Oktyabrsky District responded to the appeal. They explained that bus arrival times are glitching due to unstable internet, and the pavilion itself will be repaired by spring.
«At the address you specified, the frame and load-bearing base of the transport waiting pavilion will be repaired by March 2026. The convector heater is operational and heats the pavilion to +5°C (41°F). The arrival time of transport is broadcast on the screen, but due to interruptions in internet broadcasting, there are problems with the transmission. A new door closer will be installed on the entrance door by the end of January this year,» said representatives of the mayor«s office.
Earlier we reported that Omsk residents were outraged by the condition of heating mains in the city.
