The builders of the fourth bridge have announced who is currently monitoring its condition until full commissioning. The question arose due to abnormal snowfalls in the city. The VIS Group (VIS) explained that the bridge is being monitored by the operator company Transtoll, which is part of the concessionaire«s group of companies.

“For all days after heavy snowfalls, free passage for vehicles has been ensured, as recorded by drone footage. The roadway is treated with a special reagent that can melt ice and snow-ice deposits,” assured the press service of the VIS Group.

The bridge is cleaned around the clock. For this, more than 20 units of equipment are used, including the general contractor of the construction. The work is planned to be fully completed within three days.

“Until January 19, due to the large volume of snow being removed from city streets and sharply negative temperatures, disposal was impossible,” emphasized the organization.

The concessionaire added that on the company«s initiative, traffic on the fourth bridge was organized in December 2025 under a temporary scheme. Passage is currently free. This has allowed motorists to use the built infrastructure until all work specified in the agreement is completed.

“The technical basis for opening traffic is the temporary traffic organization scheme approved by the Road Management Department of the Novosibirsk City Hall. In accordance with the requirements of Part 3.8, Article 49 of the Russian Urban Planning Code, this scheme has received confirmation of compliance from the general designer,” emphasized the company.

At the end of last year, the fourth bridge in Novosibirsk caused traffic jams despite calculations — the city hall named the reason.
