For Passenger Safety: Snowfall Cancels Two Suburban Bus Routes in Dobryanka

Road conditions are poor away from urban centers, with the Dobryanka area likely experiencing even worse conditions.
The Dobryanka transport company has announced the cancellation of two bus routes due to heavy snowfall. However, it is unclear if passengers have any alternative means of transportation.
On the VKontakte page of the Dobryanka transport company (JSC Dobryanskoye ATP), a warning was posted on the morning of January 30 stating that routes No. 169 (Dobryanka — Bor Lenva — Nizhny Lukh) and No. 174 (Dobryanka — Nikulino) are canceled today. The duration of the cancellation was not specified. These settlements cannot be reached directly from Perm.
Moreover, on January 29, the carrier reported only the cancellation of morning trips on January 30. One subscriber commented on the post: «We»re already used to it.«
The company stated the reasons for the cancellation as: «To ensure the safety of passenger transportation, comply with requirements for drivers» working conditions, prevent bus breakdowns during the route, and avoid road traffic accidents.«
We have contacted the administration of the Dobryansky district for clarification on the legality of the cancellation. We will update this news with the officials« response when it is received.
Snow has indeed covered many roads in Perm and the region, as predicted earlier by Andrey Shikhov. Due to the snowdrifts, many buses were delayed. However, no cancellations have been reported in Perm or other cities.
We have also prepared a weather forecast for Perm for the upcoming weekend.
