Primorye Governor Oleg Kozhemyako's style: modest polos and luxury watches

Primorye Territory Governor Oleg Kozhemyako appears in public quite often, participating in community competitions, opening sports trails, and more. Unless it«s a meeting of heads or an official gathering, he might wear a jacket (in winter), a polo shirt, jeans, and sneakers.

The editorial team of VLADIVOSTOK1.RU decided to find out how much the governor«s outfits cost when he appears in front of citizens. It»s worth noting that they rarely change from year to year, and we didn«t notice any overtly luxury brands either, though some items sometimes cost more than the region»s average monthly actual salary. Some items are probably custom-made, because there are no even similar counterparts; the most unique item is a polo shirt from Sber.

But Oleg Kozhemyako«s greatest passion has always been watches: various sources mention models from different brands costing from 500 thousand rubles ($5,000 at current rates) to 5 million ($50,000). Recently, among his wrist accessories, we have spotted an ageless Swiss classic worth several million rubles and casual watches that are inexpensive by a governor»s standards.
Such modesty in everyday clothing is surprising—the Kozhemyako family«s income would allow for extravagance. His wife owns assets from the governor»s former business, and his son has several profitable companies across Primorye. We covered his business in detail in another article.
Since the beginning of 2023, by presidential decree, mandatory public disclosure of personal declarations for civil servants has been temporarily suspended within the framework of the special military operation. Now parliaments publish deputies« income data in a generalized form, without specifying personal details. But in the pre-election declaration for 2022, Kozhemyako reported an income of 23.2 million rubles ($232,000 at current rates), although that includes revenue from leasing property of Tymlat Fish Processing Plant LLC, which belongs to his family. According to Primamedia, the governor had no more than 2.5 million rubles ($25,000) in his bank accounts.
Jackets for every taste
One of the most expensive items in Kozhemyako«s wardrobe that we saw last year is a Gimo»s insulated jacket with a fur collar. This is an Italian brand that evolved from a small family atelier. You can«t find it on marketplaces, but in boutiques or from buyers—easily. The price in Moscow»s Central Universal Store (TsUM) is 99.5 thousand rubles ($995 at current rates), not including delivery.
A buyer is a person who purchases in bulk or simply in large quantities, typically fashionable branded clothing, for trading enterprises or for resale.
The jacket is worth its price—it«s made of water-repellent flannel based on polyester. The fur detail on the collar is removable, and the governor often wears it instead of a scarf and on other jackets—practical. Kozhemyako»s model has an inner and four outer pockets. There is a version with only two outer pockets, which is slightly cheaper.
Another jacket is from the brand Moncler. You won«t find this exact model on marketplaces; it»s not even available at TsUM anymore. We only managed to find the price on one buyer«s website, where it costs 183 thousand rubles ($1,830). A used version can be bought for 100 thousand ($1,000). This is a brand from France but based in Italy; the manufacturer primarily focuses on creating comfortable and high-quality clothing for mountaineering.
But the governor also has very inexpensive items. For example, a sports jacket he wore when visiting a ski resort in Arsenyev and the «Russian Ski Track» on Russky Island. This is a running jacket from the brand Loeffler Hybrid. Such jackets are not currently on sale, but they cost from 14-20 thousand rubles ($140-$200) depending on the store.
The glasses, by the way, are also quite simple, no more than 10 thousand rubles ($100). For an athlete, this price might even seem laughable.
The most expensive collection
Last year and this year, Oleg Kozhemyako has worn several different watches. We«ve spotted three models. The first one matches the details of the Swiss luxury class model Breguet Classique very closely. This is a handcrafted series; the manufacturer claims all watchmaking traditions are observed. Despite the simple appearance without details or accents, the price for new ones now is over 2.5 million rubles ($25,000). But they cannot be imported into Russia.
If online data is to be believed, the governor«s model is quite old—from 2014, but it»s hard to say for sure. He wore a similar one at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin at the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF) in 2025. In the photo, they appear lighter, as if made of white gold or platinum; the brand has those too—half a million rubles ($5,000) more expensive.
The most expensive watch spotted is the Swiss Patek Philippe Complications Annual Calendar. These are collectible watches, and their price depends on rarity and demand. Pre-owned but in excellent condition watches would cost a Russian around 1.3 million rubles ($13,000); new ones can only be purchased by special order and would cost approximately 6-7 million rubles ($60,000-$70,000). There are also used offers for around 2.5 million rubles ($25,000) on average.
He has been wearing these watches since his tenure as governor of Amur Region. Perhaps it«s a gift from someone. According to the website chrono24.com.ru, this model cost 2.8 million rubles ($28,000) in 2019.
Polos
One of the polo shirts most often seen on the governor is from the Italian brand Brunello Cucinelli. It costs about 42 thousand rubles ($420) today. It is distinguished from others by the unique placement of stripes on the sleeves. Currently, it can only be purchased by order through buyers; according to the brand, it«s an outdated collection.
There is also an interesting polo shirt in which the head of Primorye appeared most often in the summer of 2024—the brand is hard to identify, but the logo of Sberbank adorns the chest. The company indeed has similar merchandise and a similar polo on its website, but without the white trims on the collar and the zipper. In general, this entire line on the bank«s website costs 7.2 thousand rubles ($72).
The most «luxury»
We would like to separately note the governor«s ties—they are all as if chosen to match, silk, glossy, and looking expensive, that»s for sure. But finding out their price was not easy. Of those we have in the photo, we only managed to find the leftmost one. It completely matches a Giorgio Armani brand model for 26,450 rubles ($265) at TsUM. Kozhemyako wore this tie at the 2025 Eastern Economic Forum.
As for the other two, it«s possible they are custom-made or not presented in online stores. On average, custom-making a tie from good quality silk fabric in Vladivostok can cost up to 10-12 thousand rubles ($100-$120), while the price of the most premium branded tie in the same TsUM is 49.9 thousand rubles ($499) from Stefano Richi.
