Married Russian woman vies for Mrs. World crown

The mercury in Las Vegas is set to rise to unprecedented heights for January in the coming days. After all, the top beauties from around the world have gathered here. Their only downside: they are all married. That is the main rule of the beauty contest «Mrs. World — 2026».

One of the contenders for the beautiful international title flew into Sin City directly from the Russian capital of echpochmaks (a Tatar pastry). Athlete, model, and simply a beauty from Kazan, Dinara Salyakhova, has already won crowns from a couple of prestigious beauty contests for her collection. Can she repeat her success at a higher level?

Dinara is 35 years old, and in recent years she has been actively and successfully participating in beauty pageants. It all started with wins in regional «Fitness Bikini» championships, after which the woman realized that a crown suited her, and she went all out.

After the judges of Tatarstan«s »Fitness Bikini« competitions, the jury of the »Mrs. Russia World« contest fell at Dinara»s feet. This victory opened the way for her to the European stage. At the «Mrs. Europe» contest, Salyakhova with ease and grace outpaced 25 competitors and took the coveted crown.

Now, in her nearest (as near as it gets) plans, Dinara aims to conquer the title of the world«s most beautiful woman. It is for this that she came to Las Vegas.

Currently, Dinara is raising two sons, ages 12 and 5, and owns a sportswear brand.

«The Mrs. World contest is not just another stage, it»s a large-scale event, and it motivates me to win even more,« Dinara noted. »Obtaining a U.S. visa was not a problem, and upon arrival in Las Vegas, we encountered only pleasant moments. The atmosphere among the participants is incredibly friendly, and already tomorrow we have photoshoots and registration events.«

Inspired by her success in beauty pageants, Salyakhova launched an international project «Mrs BRICS», the first final of which will take place in Kazan on March 8.

The Mrs. World contest has been held since 1984, and during this time Russian women have won only twice: in 2006 and 2009. Among the most difficult stages of the contest is the interview with the jury, where participants must not only talk about themselves but also answer provocative questions. Also, in the final, participants face a parade in swimsuits, evening gowns, and national costumes.
