On January 24, Chelyabinsk«s Traktor won on home ice against Vladivostok»s Admiral. The final score was 3:1.
The first period saw no goals scored. In the 21st minute of the game, Andrei Svetlakov opened the scoring, capitalizing on a pass from Vitali Kravtsov. However, just two minutes later, Yegor Chezganov tied the game. In the remaining time of the second period, Traktor could have taken the lead, but Vitali Kravtsov hit the crossbar, and Mikhail Goryunov-Roligizer hit the post.
In the third period, the hosts went ahead again after a precise shot from Artemi Nizameev. Vitali Kravtsov scored the third goal, setting the final result at 3:1.
In previous matches, Traktor lost to Omsk«s Avangard (2:5) and Avtomobilist, but at the beginning of January, the team secured four consecutive victories.
