Alexey Shpilevsky, in an interview with the club«s press service, assessed the team»s work during the first phase of the preparatory training camp in Turkey. He noted the good preparation of the players and their mindset for further intensive work.

Weather conditions forced adjustments several times during the camp: changing the training schedule and canceling a friendly match with Fakel. However, according to the coach, the players demonstrated full commitment in every training session.

Many of the guys got their act together, rebooted during the vacation, and the break did them good. Honestly, I didn«t expect some players to show themselves like this. Thanks to them! I hope they will continue working with the same attitude and passion. I»m glad they have evolved mentally, which means we will have additional strength for competition, said the head coach.

In the next two and a half weeks, the team faces intensified training loads and a series of practice matches. The coaching staff is also actively working on strengthening team spirit.

We will do everything to return to Nizhny Novgorod in good shape, Shpilevsky added.

Earlier, the coach outlined the main goal for the remainder of the season—keeping the Nizhny Novgorod club in the Russian Premier League.
