Russia's Ski Track 2026: Schedule in Nizhny Novgorod

The all-Russian mass ski race «Russia»s Ski Track« is scheduled for February 14, 2026, in Nizhny Novgorod. The venue, as traditionally chosen, is a clearing near the Oksky Bereg residential complex, according to the regional sports ministry.
In 2026, the competition will be held for the 44th time, continuing to annually unite cross-country skiing enthusiasts from all over the country.
Organizers have prepared several types of races for participants:
- mass races over distances of 5 and 10 kilometers;
- corporate race for company teams;
- honorary guests« race over a symbolic 2026 meters;
- children»s and family starts over 500 meters.
Registration for most distances is available through the Gosuslugi portal until February 12 inclusive. The exception is the family race: applications for it will be accepted directly at the venue on the day of the event. All participants must have a medical clearance with them.
Adults are allowed to participate in the 10-kilometer race, while the 5-kilometer race is for boys and girls under 18 years old. The family distance is designed for families with children under 11, and the children«s race is for kids under 10.
Schedule of the «Russia»s Ski Track – 2026« competition:
- 9:00 — distribution of starting numbers and work of the participant admission commission;
- 11:10 — children»s race over 500 m;
- 11:20 — family race over 500 m;
- 11:30 — official opening ceremony;
- 12:00 — individual races over 5 and 10 km;
- 12:10 — honorary guests« race over 2026 m;
- 12:20 — corporate race over 2 km;
- 13:00 — awarding of winners and prize-winners;
- 15:00 — end of the event.
In 2025, the «Russia»s Ski Track« in Nizhny Novgorod was canceled due to abnormally warm weather. In the previous year, 2024, the competition was successfully held.
