Rostov Home Hockey Match Postponed Due to Rotavirus in Champions

The postponed hockey match was initially scheduled for January 29 at the Sports Palace.
The home match of hockey club Rostov against the team Torpedo-Gorky has been postponed due to a rotavirus infection in the opponent.
Torpedo-Gorky is the current champion of the Supreme Hockey League (VHL) and is the champion of Russia.
The VHL press service clarified that the infection is among the hockey players, coaches, and support staff of the team. Also, the match of the Nizhny Novgorod team against Tambov has been postponed.
«Previously purchased tickets will be valid for the rescheduled match date, which will be announced shortly. Information on refunds will be published after the rescheduled date is determined,» said in a statement from HC Rostov.
The new date for the match is not yet known. On January 31, Rostov will host Voskresensk Khimik at the Sports Palace.
