Perm Skier Saveliy Korostelev Gets 2026 Olympics Invitation

Skier from Perm Saveliy Korostelev has received an official invitation from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to the 2026 Olympic Games. Recently, Forbes included the athlete in its rating of young and successful people.
The invitation of Saveliy Korostelev to the Olympics was reported by «Match TV» citing the IOC press service. Along with the Perm native, skier Daria Nepryaeva will go to the games, and earlier invitations were received by skaters Petr Gumennik and Adelia Petrosian, ski mountaineer Nikita Filippov, and short track speed skaters Ivan Posashkov and Alena Krylova.
In spring 2025, we already wrote about Saveliy Korostelev when Forbes included him in its «30 under 30» rating. This is a list of the best specialists under 30 who have gained recognition in the professional community and become known at the all-Russian or more global level. Saveliy is the son of bronze medalist of the 2010 Olympics Natalia Korosteleva.
By the age of 22, the Perm native became a two-time world junior champion; the president of the Russian Ski Racing Federation called Saveliy a discovery. The athlete was seriously talked about at the end of the season before last, when he won the overall standings of the Russian Cup. Saveliy runs his own Telegram channel. There, he shows travels, sports victories, and his photos.
