«Albatros is a pool that has raised several Olympic champions. The main infrastructure is in acceptable condition, but the changing rooms are terrible. There are no modern hair dryers, no mirrors. said Olga Chernyavskaya.

The appeal was commented on by representatives of the city administration. According to the mayor«s office, a technical inspection of the building is currently underway at the »Yunost« sports complex, and once the results are ready, specialists will begin developing a plan for pool repairs.

«Given the large volume of planned work, special attention is being paid to risk analysis to ensure the durability and safety of the sports facility»s operation. According to the Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sports (SibGUFK), the main equipment is functional and meets requirements. At the moment, the university«s budget does not allow for a full-scale infrastructure update,» the administration said.

They emphasized that the university plans to participate in federal competitions and programs to obtain the necessary funding. If money is allocated, the sports complex«s equipment will be gradually updated.
