Novosibirsk Region Approves 11 Key Sports for Official List

Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev has signed an order approving 11 key sports for Novosibirsk Region, which will be included in the official list from 2026 to 2029.

Eleven key sports have been approved in Novosibirsk Region. The corresponding order was signed by Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev.

It is specified that these sports will be included in the official list from 2026 to 2029.

Thus, the list includes athletics, swimming, wrestling, taekwondo, fencing, hockey, karate, sambo, deaf sports, bandy, and chess.

Kemerovo Region has approved the most basic sports among the subjects of the Siberian Federal District—21. The fewest are in Omsk and Tomsk regions, the Altai Republic, and Tuva.
