Amid media reports about Rostov«s significant debts, team midfielder Alexei Mironov spoke about the club»s financial position.
It was previously reported that due to debt obligations, Rostov might even withdraw from the Russian championship. The club«s general director Igor Goncharov denied this information, calling it inaccurate.
«I also learned from the media. What I saw in the news while on vacation, that I came to training camp... Incomparable things. No such news is discussed in the team. We are preparing for the continuation of the season. We don»t think about it,« Mironov was quoted by Match TV.
As part of preparations for the resumption of the championship, Rostov played a friendly match in the UAE, drawing with Moscow«s Lokomotiv with a score of 1:1.
