Former Avangard Omsk forward declared bankrupt

The athlete filed the petition himself
Omsk hockey player Semen Zherebtsov has been declared bankrupt. The man had previously filed a petition with the court himself, and his application was considered in recent days. The athlete played for Avangard as a forward for two consecutive seasons — in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014.
He left the Omsk club in August 2014, after which he played for Yermak, Bars, Neftekhimik Almetyevsk, Ryazan, and the Kazakh team Temirtau. The last team Zherebtsov played for was the Ukrainian club Kremenchug, but it terminated his contract in 2019.
The 33-year-old Zherebtsov filed with the court in December of last year, and the hearing to declare the former forward bankrupt was held on 27 January, with the decision issued on the same day — the athlete«s petition was granted. This information appeared on the »Electronic Justice« portal. The next step will be the procedure for the sale of assets.
Semen Zherebtsov is the son of the famous hockey player Sergei Zherebtsov, who currently works at the Avangard academy.
