‘Evolution in their minds’ – Pari NN coach on players’ RPL readiness

The team has completed the first part of their training camp in Turkey.
FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod players worked well in the first half of their training camp in Turkey and are now preparing for further intensive work, said head coach Aleksey Shpilevsky. He discussed plans for the coming weeks and readiness to burst into the second part of the RPL season in an interview with the club«s press service.
According to Shpilevsky, the weather let the team down several times during the camp: they had to change several training sessions and cancel a friendly match with Fakel, but the players themselves gave their all. Now they have a little time to reboot, after which sessions will resume.
“Many guys took stock, rebooted during the break, the pause did them good. Honestly, I didn«t expect some players to perform like this. Thank you to them! I hope that with the same attitude and zeal they will continue to work. I»m glad that evolution has occurred in their minds, which means we«ll have additional strength for competition,” said the head coach.
He added that in the next two and a half weeks, the athletes face intensive loads and even more friendly matches. Moreover, the coaching staff is actively working on team cohesion.
“We will do everything to return to Nizhny Novgorod in good condition,” Shpilevsky noted.
Earlier he told what the team«s main goal is for the remainder of the season. The priority is to keep Nizhny Novgorod in the top division of Russian football.
