Zolotoy Mall Opening on Botanika Delayed Again to 2026

Construction work continues at the Zolotoy mall site, with the latest deadline set for the end of 2026.
The opening of the Zolotoy mall, which is currently under construction in the Botanika district, has been delayed again. Work is now expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
“We plan to finish by the end of 2026,” Dmitry Sarapultsev, a representative of the company Obshchestvo Malysheva 73 (Malysheva 73 Society), which is building Zolotoy and owns the Greenwich and Passage shopping malls, told E1.RU.
He added that construction of the facility is still ongoing.
The company«s press service, meanwhile, emphasized that the project timeline remains unchanged.
“The facility is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2026. Key stages of the schedule are being met. Work on preparing and handing over premises to key anchor tenants is actively underway. The opening of the Zolotoy mall will be a significant event that will not only provide the city with new retail space but also create a unique leisure area meeting modern standards,” the press service of Obshchestvo Malysheva 73 responded.
This is not the first delay. Initially, work on the project was promised to be completed in 2023. Most recently, the company stated that Zolotoy would be delivered by the end of 2025 and opened in March 2026.
Zolotoy will become one of the largest malls in Yekaterinburg; it is being built next to the Botanicheskaya metro station. Previously, E1.RU correspondents showed what this megaproject looks like from inside and told what stores and entertainment will appear there.
