Yekaterinburg residents to grow crops under their windows

Strawberries, tomatoes, pattypan squash, lettuce, and dill will be grown right under the windows by residents of the new Ural Garden microdistrict. On the pedestrian boulevard of the residential quarter, developer Strana Development will create a cozy corner for those who enjoy tinkering with seedlings.

The project of community gardens near the residential complex was first launched by Strana Development in Tyumen, making it the first developer to do so. The idea immediately sparked great interest. After receiving positive feedback, the company began replicating the experience in its new projects and in other cities.

Community gardens are a place where residential complex residents can independently plant berries for children, greens for salad, mint for tea, vegetables for preserves, and anything else their imagination and patience allow.

«Ural Garden» is a complex of 17 houses, 5 parking lots, and areas for games and relaxation. Sections in the residential buildings will have varying numbers of floors — from 7 to 30. Each section will be designed in the form of a closed square with a closed courtyard in the center.

Strolling pedestrian boulevards inside the residential complex link the houses into a single ecosystem. Noisy playgrounds and a large sports cluster with a mini-football field, table tennis tables, and a workout area with exercise equipment have also been placed there.
