Yaroslavl Allocates Land Near Volga for High-Rise Construction

The authorities of Yaroslavl have announced a tender for the lease of land for high-rise development at 12 Popova Street. The plot is located near the intersection with Tormoznoye Highway. It is approximately 500 meters in a straight line to the bank of the Volga River.

The land area is 4,057 square meters.

“The permitted use of the land plot is «multi-story residential development (high-rise development),» ” states the auction notice.

The documents specify that in this zone, construction of buildings up to nine stories high is permitted.

The authorities clarified that there are green plantings on the site. It is recommended to preserve them as much as possible when designing the housing.

The lease term for which the city will provide the land for development is 88 months (which is a little over seven years).

The auction is scheduled for February 11. The starting price of the lot is 7.69 million rubles (approximately $85,400 at current rates).

Recall that we wrote about a high-rise building with rooftop recreation areas to be built in the center of Yaroslavl. It will appear on Nekrasova Street. The roof of the building will feature children«s and sports playgrounds.
